We’ve been pushing out some amazing design here at SDA Creative, partnering with MacGillivry Freeman Films in Laguna Beach. SDA was tapped to help produce visually compelling promotional materials for a couple of their latest documentary films.

Recently SDA designed and printed Standee’s for Mac Free. What’s a standee you ask? By definition, a standee is a life-size shape, for instance of a celebrity, cut out of cardboard, often used for advertising and promotional purposes inside theaters. To promote Mac Free’s latest film, Into America’s Wild, SDA’s Creative Director, Mark Hancock designed and produced this 8′ tall standee:

These are displayed in theaters all across the country where the movie is screening . We just shipped a couple of these new standees to the Smithsonian Museum in DC! Fun times…
