I believe tall people are happier than most. They can see really well at all events, and for fear of getting beat up, nobody really messes with them very often.

Sinjin Smith is tall. But he could be really short, and still get a ton of respect. Arguably one of the greatest volleyball players ever.
A lot of the photoshoots we do are on the beach. I like that, because before I have my photo taken with the athletes, I build a little mound of sand and stand on it, as I’ve done here. Guess I should have built a bigger mound.

I guess after awhile you just get used to the fact that you’re always going to be in the front row for group photos. I can accept that. Recently I was reminded that at my age you actually start getting shorter. Hmmm… might be time to get involved in some other sports. Horse racing maybe—I heard the average jockey is only about 5′ tall.
